In a game played at Taos Grounds, the Taos third baseman blistered the Albuquerque Dukes for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 15-0 victory. "Pérez was too tough to get out," Dukes skipper Troilo Gallegos said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Sotero Pérez singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
