Pagán Crafts 9-0 Shutout Versus Los Lunas Friday, June 8th , 1906 Before the game, Ramón Pagán said he liked his chances. His instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing at Taos Grounds, the Artists pitcher blanked the Los Lunas Werewolves, 9-0. "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day," Pagán said in the clubhouse afterward. "My control was awesome. I could throw my curveball even when I was behind in the count." The Taos starter held Los Lunas scoreless, giving up 5 hits while registering 2 strikeouts and issuing 1 walk. "We didn't have very many good at-bats," Werewolves manager Jesús Contreras said in a postgame interview. "When that happens, you usually lose."
