Lázaro Carrillo spun his magic in a shutout victory at Abilene Grounds, 1-0, over the Lubbock Layabouts. The Abilene pitcher put quite a spell on Lubbock in a strong performance, allowing 2 hits while totaling 3 walks and 2 strikeouts.
"I had a lot of good things working in this one," Carrillo said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count."
