Hinojosa Too Tough, Blanks Wichita Falls Wednesday, September 13th , 1905 Uranio Hinojosa pitched a strong game at Yardmen Park, blanking the Wichita Falls Yardmen, 2-0. Hinojosa, who is tied for 10th in the FBL-WA with a 2.71 ERA, allowed no runs on 4 hits, totaled 5 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk. Amarillo manager Fred Corey said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Hinojosa. "Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," Corey said. "He threw a lot of strikes." Hinojosa has made 32 starts so far this year and put up a 15-17 won-lost record with a 2.71 ERA. In 282.2 innings he has allowed 272 hits, walked 71 and struck out 117.
