García Tosses 2-0 Shutout Friday, May 5th , 1905
In an impressive mound performance, Felipe García of the San Marcos Cadavers checked the Waco Mammoths on a 7-hitter and held them scoreless.
"He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," said Waco manager Armando Hernández. "García kept us confused the whole game."
The San Marcos hurler rang up 2 strikeouts and issued no walks in his 2-0 shutout victory.
