Speaking after the game, Wichita Falls Yardmen manager Wilfredo Perales said "Pérez had everything going for him today. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement. He was masterful." Pérez rung up 7 strikeouts and surrendered 2 walks in the game. "We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Prescott manager Amílcar Marrero told reporters.
