No Late-Season Magic Coming: Bangor Out of Playoffs Friday, September 15th , 1905 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Bangor might have envisioned. The Bangor Bishops were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in Crown of the Four Flowers and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Bishops manager José Canuto. This is the 2nd time in a row that the Bishops have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 1903. |
