Player of the Week: Dublin's Espinosa Monday, September 4th , 1905 It was some kind of week for Domingo Espinosa of the Dublin Vikings. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .478 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Baseball Federation of Scotland & Ireland. Last week Espinosa went 11-for-23, chalked up 1 home run and 11 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. This year, Espinosa is hitting .285 with 1 home run and 42 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .335 clip and scored 46 runs. |
