Claymores Get Zip in 1-0 Loss to Grimley Saturday, June 24th , 1905 Patrick Grimley of the Inverness Thistles was masterful, pitching a 8-hit shutout, 1-0, against the Edinburgh Claymores. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Inverness manager Alfonso Flores. "It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too." Grimley had 3 strikeouts and 2 walks in the outing.
