5-Hit Barrage by Mkubwa Sunday, September 2nd , 1906 Today at Parque de las Golondrinas, the San German Golondrinas topped the Adjuntas Santos in spite of a standout batting performance by left fielder Teshome Mkubwa. Mkubwa had a very impressive day at the plate, spanking San German pitching for 5 base hits, but couldn't do enough for a win. San German whipped Adjuntas by the score of 5-4. Teshome Mkubwa singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
