Mogotes Win, 1-0, as Roop Mystifies San German Friday, August 17th , 1906 Donald Roop had an impressive outing at Estadio de Florida, hurling the Florida Mogotes to a 1-0 shutout victory over the San German Golondrinas. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," San German skipper Bob Blakiston said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do.
