Acropolitanos, Herrera Stonewall Barceloneta, 4-0 Monday, July 30th , 1906 Cástor Herrera of the Manati Acropolitanos was cool and collected on the mound, leading his club to a shutout victory over the Barceloneta Marineros, 4-0. "He was mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," Manati manager Jake Seymour said later. "When Cástor does that, good things happen." The right-hander had 3 strikeouts, 1 walk and allowed 3 hits in the win. On the season, Herrera has compiled a 8-13 mark with a 2.83 ERA in 26 starts.
