Souza Superb Against Manati Saturday, May 12th , 1906 A masterful pitching performance carried the Mayaguez Capitanes to victory over Manati, 2-0. Fausto Souza held the Acropolitanos scoreless in a complete-game effort. He permitted 8 hits, had 2 strikeouts, and allowed no walks. "Souza was sharp," Acropolitanos manager Jake Seymour said later.
