Magdaleno Cruises to Shutout Victory Tuesday, October 24th , 1905 Pascual Magdaleno had an impressive outing at Parque de los Galanes, hurling the Salinas Pescadores to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Ciales Galanes. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Ciales skipper Gilberto Tamayo said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Magdaleno yielded 1 hit and tallied 4 strikeouts with no walks.
