Méndez Holds Cafeteros Scoreless Sunday, May 7th , 1905 Mateo Méndez came out firing strikes and, when the game ended, the Vega Baja Caneros hurler had struck out 8, leading Vega Baja past the Maricao Cafeteros, 2-0.
