Humacao on Top of Liga Hostos Este Wednesday, October 7th , 1903 Humacao Milagrosos fans are walking a little prouder today after their team officially clinched the Liga Hostos Este. "There's no reason to believe we can't win it all," starting pitcher Plácido Polanco said bluntly. "Whether or not we're favorites, we can definitely do what it takes to bring the Campeonato Nacional Puertorriqueño home to Humacao." The division crown is the 3rd for the Milagrosos. The club will be looking for its 1st Campeonato Nacional Puertorriqueño victory. Team manager Enrique Pérez said "preparation and focus" will be key to bring home the championship. |
