Castro Too Tough, Blanks Guayama Friday, October 2nd , 1903 Luis Castro was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Guayama Hechiceros on 5 hits. "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Guayama manager Ismael Sánchez after the 3-0 loss to the Florida Mogotes. Castro finished with 5 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, Florida manager Roberto Merlo said Castro "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."
