Santana Tosses 5-0 Shutout for Hatillo Wednesday, September 30th , 1903 Felipe Santana kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Hatillo Canarios were all smiles after winning, 5-0, against the Santa Isabel Corceles at Estadio de Santa Isabel. The right-handed Santana gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits, and tallied 8 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Santana said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
