Toa Baja Sits Atop Liga Hostos Metro Oeste Tuesday, September 29th , 1903 The Toa Baja Jinetes may not have ever won a Campeonato Nacional Puertorriqueño, but you wouldn't have guessed it from looking inside their clubhouse today. The club celebrated its Liga Hostos Metro Oeste championship like they've been hosting such festivities for a long time. "Our team may not have ever won a championship, but we know how to party," said second baseman Harry Jones. "This is nothing compared to what you'll see if we can win the Campeonato Nacional Puertorriqueño." The club's 104-42 record led to the franchise's 2nd division crown. |
