Tainos Win Liga Hostos Valle del Turabo Monday, September 28th , 1903 The Gurabo clinched a postseason berth today, officially capturing the Liga Hostos Valle del Turabo division title. The Gurabo Tainos' clubhouse was filled afterwards with jubilant teammates and club officials beaming with pride. Manager, Oscar Lugo, praised his club, saying, "We were underdogs from the beginning, but we pulled it off. I couldn't be more proud of this group of guys for getting it done. Now our goal is to bring a championship to Gurabo!" Hopefully the team can get some sleep after what's sure to be a late night celebrating! |
