Mollet Befuddles Guayanilla in 1-0 Ciales Win Saturday, September 19th , 1903 Jacques Mollet led the Ciales Galanes to a shutout victory, 1-0, over the Guayanilla Electricos at Parque de los Eléctricos. "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Mollet recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location." Mollet yielded 6 hits and had 4 strikeouts and no walks in the standout performance. "I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Guayanilla manager Ernesto Méndez said.
