Santos Lúa Dominates Capitanes Monday, September 14th , 1903 Dalmacio Lúa had an impressive outing at Coliseo Atlético del Oeste, hurling the Adjuntas Santos to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Mayaguez Capitanes. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Mayaguez skipper Samuel Castillo said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Lúa yielded 4 hits and tallied 3 strikeouts with 1 walk.
