Cruz Voted LH Player of the Week Monday, September 14th , 1903 Phenomenal is the word for last week's performance by Curcio Cruz of the Trujillo Alto Macabeos. He went on quite a roll and hauled in the latest Liga Hostos Player of the Week Award today. He put up a 2-0 won-lost mark while working 18 innings and holding enemy batters to a .217 average. Cruz also chalked up 9 strikeouts as he registered a 0.00 ERA. Up to now Cruz has recorded a record of 14-20. In 34 starts he has fanned 82 batters in 291.2 innings with a 3.15 ERA. |
