Castillo Bewilders Pepinos, 1-0 Wednesday, September 9th , 1903 The bats were ice cold for the San Sebastian Pepinos at Jardines de los Pepinos. Anasco Matadioses starter Eulalio Castillo kept the Pepinos cold all day, shutting them out, 1-0. In a fine outing, the 16-year-old hurler allowed 5 hits while striking out 3 and walking 1. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Castillo admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves."
