The Lachute Supercalandres picked up a win at Supercalenders Park, knocking off the Thurso Bucherons, 5-4, in 11 innings. Starting pitcher Eduardo Ayala played a key role in the triumph. The loss drops Thurso to 3-5.

The Supercalandres got a clutch hit from first baseman Emanuel Padilla. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Supercalandres.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Padilla told the Lachute Daily News.
