Sheffield left fielder Damien Petty picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the London Fog, 4-3, in 12 innings. Laureano Rodríguez, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Delmar León got the save, his 1st in 1 chances.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Alistair Jackson came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing London pitcher Ángel de Hoyos, he hit a full count cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Sheffield on top, 4-3.

After the game, Sheffield manager Ismael Laboy applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
