Julio Piñero was nothing short of phenomenal for the Coventry Motors. The 26-year-old left-hander was a big reason his team beat the Sheffield Talons, 5-1. Coventry now owns a record of 45-35.

Center Fielder Harvey Strange made an impact for Coventry, when he swatted a run-scoring triple off Mark Cunningham in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Strange was 2-5 with 2 triples. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Piñero told the Coventry News.
