At Ballpark of Aberdeen, the Aberdeen Granite and Edinburgh Claymores were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Edinburgh Claymores defeated the Aberdeen Granite, 7-3, at Ballpark of Aberdeen. Edinburgh was led by 18-year old left fielder Guarionex de León, who went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Avelino Oliva got the win, improving to 9-9. He worked 9 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0.

In the top of the eighth, the Claymores grabbed the lead when de León hit his 3rd home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Cameron Brown made it 4-1, Edinburgh.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Aberdeen manager Fraser Sinclair.
