Estadio Radamés Martínez was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Naranjito Brillantes and Ponce Senores.

The Naranjito Brillantes scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Ponce Senores at Estadio Radamés Martínez. Naranjito pitcher Germán Bencosme held his own in the contest. Bencosme, who is tied for 2nd in the LH in quality starts with 6, went the distance for Naranjito. He gave up 4 runs on 10 hits.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Troilo Hernández came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Ponce pitcher Javier Beltrán, he hit a full count cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Naranjito on top, 5-4.

"Feels good to get the job done," Hernández said after the game.

The loss lowers the Ponce record to 16-8.
