The Edinburgh Claymores defeated the Inverness Thistles, 5-4. Doing his part was second baseman Eduardo Sierra, who went 3-3 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. Avelino Oliva, the winner, goes to 8-9. He allowed 4 runs on 11 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts over 8 innings.
