The Inverness Thistles extended their winning streak.

The Inverness Thistles pounded the Aberdeen Granite, 16-2, at Ballpark of Aberdeen. Inverness center fielder Ross Knox had a game-changing performance. He went 4-6 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Inverness starter Jack Cunningham was credited with the win after throwing 98 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 9-5.

The Thistles got a big hit from designated hitter Pelayo Pérez. Facing Aberdeen pitcher Adam Black in the top of the fifth, Pérez pounded a 2-run triple to center. His 1st triple of the season put the Thistles ahead, 3-0.

"What a debacle," groaned Aberdeen manager Fraser Sinclair in postgame remarks.

The Thistles have now won 7 straight.
