Gurabo ace Nuño González solidified his place in league history with his 100th career victory today at Parque de los Poetas. González and the Tainos bested Toa Alta 6-3. He checked the Poetas on 8 hits in 8.2 innings and finished the day with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks.

"I've worked hard for this day," González said. "Sometimes I didn't think it would happen. Most of the time it seemed so far off. Now it's here. It's like a dream!"
