Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Artilleros beat the Pescadores.

Benjamín Centeno, who is tied for 5th in the LB in quality starts with 28, was locked in. The left-hander led the Maunabo Artilleros to a 7-2 win against the Salinas Pescadores at Recinto Atlético del Sureste. Centeno, the winner, moves to 21-13. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 7 walks.

The Artilleros got an important contribution from center fielder Rubén Hernández, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 1-2 fastball to left-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Artilleros ahead, 2-0.

Centeno told a Maunabo Bulletin reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

Maunabo is now 71-66. Salinas is 81-55.
