Arzobispos Suffer 1-0 Setback

Parque de los Galanes played host to some high drama.
The Ciales Galanes picked up a win at Parque de los Galanes, taking down the Aguada Arzobispos, 1-0. Starting pitcher Graciano González was a big reason why. The winner in relief was Juan Rodríguez. He is now 9-8. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings.
Roger Banfield clinched the win with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth. In the game, the Blind River, Canada native drove in one run.
"It's not by accident that Graciano finds ways to get outs," said Ciales skipper Gilberto Tamayo.
The third-place Galanes now have a record of 60-73.
