Rivas Struts Stuff in Win Over Derry
|
Marco Rivas really had his stuff working at Bards Field. The Belfast Bards hurler mystified the Derry Maidens, shutting them out, 5-0. Rivas allowed a total of 2 hits in the ballgame and struck out 16.
"The shutout is nice, but I'm just happy we won," Rivas said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose."
