Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Fog beat the Tradesmen.

Behind a solid performance from second baseman Hernando Elizondo, the London Fog defeated the Birmingham Tradesmen, 13-0. Elizondo was 2-4 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Fog. The winning pitcher was Rubén Martín. His record now stands at 1-2. The right-hander went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 6 hits for the Fog.

With London leading 9-0 in the bottom of the seventh, Elizondo batted against Birmingham pitcher Víctor de la Cruz. Elizondo hit a fastball to right for a bases-clearing triple. His 2nd triple of the season put the Fog on top, 12-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Elizondo told the London Daily.

With the win, London elevates its record to 6-5.
