Bishops Earn Win with Late Rally
Bishops Fields played host to some high drama.

The Bangor Bishops defeated the Wrexham Druids, 5-4, in Baseball Federation of England & Wales action at Bishops Fields. Bangor pitcher Ricardo Márquez had a standout performance. Louis Cohen, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 1.1 innings.

Manuel Blas was the walk-off hero for Bangor. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bishops third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This was a good win," said Blas.

Wrexham now has a record of 5-4.
