Patrick Grimley propelled his team to victory over the Edinburgh Claymores. The final score was 5-4, Inverness. With the win, Inverness climbs to 4-5.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Ross Knox came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Edinburgh pitcher Báquides Sánchez, he hit a 1-2 sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Inverness on top, 5-4.

"We had a good game plan," Grimley said, "and we were able to execute it."
