Not everyone stuck through the 25-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

The Yauco Corsos knocked off the Penuelas Guiristas, 4-2, in Liga Betances action at Coliseo Aldo Gallardo. Yauco pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Cancio Rodríguez had an outstanding performance. Picking up the save was 21-year old left-handed pitcher Paulino Montes.

Mateo González, the Yauco second baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 3-1, Corsos. For the game, González was 2-4 with 2 singles.

"We'll try to build on that win," González told the Yauco Citizen.

With the loss, Penuelas is 9-10.
