Milagrosos Take Tight Tango, 3-1
|
The Humacao Milagrosos got a magnificent performance from pitcher Luis Barajas, who muffled the Guanica offense en route to a tight, 3-1 Milagrosos win at Parque de Guánica. Earning his 4th save for Humacao was Pablo Lizárraga. The win has Humacao at 9-7.
Humacao took advantage of an error in the top of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Luis Campos hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Milagrosos in front, 3-1.
Barajas attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
