Stack Leads Navegadores to 1-0 Win over Artilleros
|
The Naguabo Navegadores and Maunabo Artilleros put on a pitchers' duel.
In a tight game between the Naguabo Navegadores and the Maunabo Artilleros, pitcher Everton Stack was terrific on the mound. The Naguabo right-hander helped his team to the 1-0 win. The first-place Navegadores are 87-38.
It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Stack, who tallied 8 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing just 5 hits. Stack, who is tied for 4th in the LB with a 8.4 K/9 rate, goes to 21-8 on the year with 258 strikeouts.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Stack.
