Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Toa Baja Jinetes and Adjuntas Santos.
Jeremías Cabrera, who is on pace for 248 strikeouts this season, never let the Santos get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Jinetes to a win, 2-1. The Jinetes move to 75-42 with the win, while the Santos drop to 61-56.
Cabrera's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 5 hits. Cabrera, who is tied for 10th in the LH in wins with 18, goes to 18-12 on the year with 173 strikeouts.
