The Aguas Buenas Mulos went home winners at Jardines de Guaynabo, thanks in large part to starter Gregorio Salazar. Salazar stifled the Guaynabo Libertadores, enabling Aguas Buenas to grab the 7-1 win. The Libertadores, now 51-62, have lost 4 straight.

Tied up with the Libertadores in the top of the fourth inning, the Mulos got a boost from shortstop Dáire O'Connor. With the bases loaded, O'Connor saw a 2-2 curveball from Mateo Hernández and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Aguas Buenas on top, 1-0.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Salazar. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
