The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.
Orocovis starter Aquiles Caraveo pitched well against the San Juan Metropolitanos at Coliseo Carlos Mujica. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1, in 10 innings. The win went to Gabriel Reyna in relief. His record improves to 6-3. Rafael Maestas took the loss.
Rogelio Valenzuela clinched the win with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth. In the game, the Orocovis pinch hitter drove in one run.
"This house was rockin'," Valenzuela said.
At 51-54, the Caciques find themselves in first place in the Liga Betances Centro.
