Germán Bencosme propelled his team to victory over the Jayuya Cerros. The final score was 5-3, Naranjito. Bencosme, now 7-17, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. The Brillantes improved to 42-60.

Naranjito used a clutch hit from Dave Rafuse to get the win. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Brillantes ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
