In a low-scoring contest between the Lajas Marcianos and the Maunabo Artilleros, 23-year old left-handed pitcher Dalmacio Nájar proved to be the difference. The Lajas left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Marcianos win. The winner was Nájar. He threw 8.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Raúl Nieto.
