Marcos García led the Carolina Tumbabrazos to a shutout victory, 4-0, over the Sabana Grande Tejedores at Jardines de Carolina.

"My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," García recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location."

García yielded 2 hits and had 2 strikeouts and no walks in the standout performance.

"I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Sabana Grande manager Tarasio Serrato said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching."
