Wet weather did not postpone the Aibonito-Vieques ballgame.

In a low-scoring tilt between the Aibonito Frios and the Vieques Esqueletos, 34-year old left-handed pitcher Ed Ostrom was the difference-maker. The Aibonito left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. In 11 innings, Ostrom surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 11 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs.

Zak Randall clinched the win with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th. In the game, the Aibonito designated hitter was 1 for 4 with a double.
