Yauco Rallies for 5-2 Victory
Yauco turned a fine outing from starter Pascual Cruz into a victory over the Lajas Marcianos at Plaza Cósmica de Lajas. The final score was 5-2 in 12 innings. Troilo Salazar, 3-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. The third-place Corsos hiked their record to 36-49.

Pascual Ortiz's hit in the top of the 12th was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a curveball from Doroteo Casillas to right for a run-scoring single. It put Yauco in front, 3-2.

"Pascual made some big pitches when he needed to," said Corsos manager Tito Sandoval.
