Picudos Knock Off Artilleros at Campo de los Picudos

Ceiba and Maunabo duked it out and the Picudos came out victorious.
The Ceiba Picudos picked up a win at Campo de los Picudos, downing the Maunabo Artilleros, 4-3. On the mound for Ceiba was right-hander Francisco Rojas, who played a pivotal role in the win. The setback makes Maunabo 44-39.
Ceiba left fielder Lester Burton contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a slider to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 30th hit of the season and put the Picudos ahead, 4-2.
"Francisco gave us a very blue collar effort," said Ceiba manager Mark Sparkman.
